Client Guidelines

Please take a moment to review our client policies. These guidelines are in place to help us consistently deliver exceptional service to all our clients on every visit.

Arrival Time

Most of our appointments are scheduled within an arrival time window rather than a fixed time. We provide our cleaning technicians with a one-hour arrival window to account for common delays such as traffic, road work, weather conditions, or extended service at a prior appointment.

Cancellation / Rescheduling

We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling, considering our business hours (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM). If a scheduled cleaning is not canceled or rescheduled within this timeframe, a 50% cancellation fee will apply. Exceptions may be made in cases of emergency, evaluated individually.

Access to the Home

If our team arrives and is unable to access your home—due to a locked door, missing key or code, or any reason that prevents entry—you may be charged 50% of your scheduled cleaning cost. Our employees are paid hourly, and this fee helps cover operational costs. Many of our clients choose to provide us with a key or code, which we handle with utmost care and responsibility.

Assigned Cleaner

We will assign a regular cleaner to your home whenever possible, except in cases of illness, vacation, personal emergencies, or changes in their schedule. If your regular cleaner is no longer available, we will assign another trained professional who will follow your home’s customized Work Order. You are welcome to try different cleaners until you find the right fit. All The Maidfy Cleaning Services LLC cleaners are trained using the same checklist to ensure consistent quality.

Cleaning Results

For the best results, we recommend minimal or no foot traffic and no pets present in the cleaning areas during the service. Our team cannot clean actively used areas (e.g., kitchen in use). Please allow floors to dry fully before walking on them. Pets should be kept away during vacuuming and mopping for safety and efficiency.

Preparation

Please tidy up and remove miscellaneous items before our arrival so our cleaners can focus on delivering a thorough cleaning. Let us know in advance if there are any items of high sentimental or monetary value—such as fragile heirlooms or delicate objects—so we can avoid handling them. While our team is very careful, accidents may happen, and we want to ensure all valuables are protected. Also, please secure unstable fixtures such as wall art, light fixtures, or decorative pieces to provide a safe working environment.

Physical Limitations

To protect their long-term health, our technicians are not permitted to lift objects over 20 lbs. Heavy furniture will not be moved, though we will clean visible and reachable areas thoroughly. Our staff is also not allowed to climb higher than a two-step stool to prevent workplace accidents. High surfaces will be dusted using an extended duster (3–6 feet). If your home has taller surfaces, feel free to provide a longer duster to be stored and used during each visit.

Pictures

The Maidfy Cleaning Service LLC reserves the right to take before and after photos of your home. This is done to protect both you and The Maidfy Cleaning Services LLC in case of any concerns that may arise, such as damage, misplaced items, or questions about the quality of the cleaning. Please note that our cleaners will never take photos that include your personal identification information.

As a client of The Maidfy Cleaning Services LLC, you have the right to review any photos taken before they are used on our company website or any other public platform where The Maidfy Cleaning Services LLC promotes its services.

Complaints

If you have any issues with our cleaning service, please contact us within 24 hours of the appointment and send us photos that prove your claim. The Maidfy Cleaning Services LLC will honor our 100% satisfaction policy by sending our team back to clean missed areas or redo areas not cleaned according to our checklist within five business days. Please let our office know of a date and time that works for you within this period. After five business days of the original appointment, the home will no longer be eligible for the repair spot cleaning and full payment for the service will be expected. If the crew returns and fixes said areas, full payment will be expected right after. Complaints made after the 24-hour period will not be accepted and payment for the full service will be expected.

Unfair Solicitation Agreement

We value our employees and pour an enormous amount of time, energy and financial efforts into our screening, hiring and training process. We also implement multiple internal work policies to guarantee our employees’ performance and protect our reputation. This agreement protects The Maidfy Cleaning Services LLC from unfair solicitation of direct work between customers and our employees. Both our customers and employees sign the present agreement to minimize the risk of unfair solicitation that might affect the experience all our clients have come to expect. Be aware that you will be charged a $5,000 finder’s fee if you hire a cleaning tech employed by The Maidfy Cleaning Services LLC on an individual basis for direct work during their employment and up to 12 months after their termination. You recognize that you are hiring The Maidfy Cleaning Services LLC and not The Maidfy Cleaning Services LLC employees directly.
